I am a legal professional with extensive experience providing counsel and representation to both corporate clients and individuals across a range of practice areas. My work spans commercial litigation, real estate (commercial and residential), and general corporate law, and I strive to be a trusted advisor and advocate for my clients.

In my litigation practice, I represent individuals, businesses, and major creditors in complex commercial disputes and employment law matters. I take a strategic approach to every case, working to achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients.

As a legal business counselor, I guide property owners and business operators, including those involved in multi-unit dwellings, commercial strip malls, gas stations, and small businesses, through acquisitions, dispositions, leasing arrangements, financing, and business formation. I also assist clients with corporate formalities, shareholder disputes, nonprofit designation, MBE/WBE certification, and dissolution processes, drafting key documents such as Shareholder Agreements, Bylaws, Operating Agreements, Unit Plans, and Resolutions.

In the Profession

I am passionate about entrepreneurship, both in my legal practice and through leadership roles in professional and community organizations. I previously established my own practice and served as a Managing Associate Attorney at a respected Chicago firm, experiences that have strengthened my perspective on law, business, and community engagement.

I am actively involved in professional associations, holding leadership positions in the Arab American Bar Association of Illinois (Treasurer, Board Member, and co-Chair of the Judicial Evaluation Committee), the Illinois Creditors Bar Association (Past President and Past Board Member), and the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women.

I also serve as a Trustee of the Illinois State Retirement Systems (SERS) and am a member of the Advisory Board for the American Middle East Voters Alliance Political Action Committee (AMVOTE PAC).

In the Community

Outside the office, I volunteer my time and skills to organizations addressing important societal needs, bringing my experience and perspective to make a meaningful impact.
