Andrea has more than 23 years of experience practicing labor and employment law. Her extensive experience helps our employer clients resolve and defend a wide variety of matters arising under ERISA, the NLRA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and state and federal employment laws. On behalf of “C-Suite” clients, Andrea negotiates compensation packages, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks and severance agreements. She also has extensive experience in real estate, professional liability and fiduciary liability issues, as well as Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases involving labor and employment claims. Andrea uses her negotiation skills and broad base of experience to assist clients and colleagues with an array of business issues; essentially serving as outside general counsel to our corporate and not-for-profit clients.
Andrea’s approach is to provide legal advice that contributes to the success of our client’s mission and goals.
In the Profession
Andrea is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin, as well as in the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Labor and Employment Section, the Chicago Bar Association, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and Wisconsin Real Estate Women.
In the Community
Andrea is actively involved with the Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program (WisLAP), the Women’s Fund of Milwaukee, and her son’s high school athletic teams.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?
I completed the Wisconsin Ironman Race.
What is the best book you have read in the past two years?
The Christopher Marlowe Cobb series by Robert Olen Butler. It is a spy thriller series packed with accurate historical facts.
What is the best concert you’ve attended, ever, and what made it the best?
When I was in law school in New Orleans, one of my classmates was also a professional blues singer. One evening, after some wine, when several of us law students were gathered at her apartment, an impromptu concert broke out. I’m not sure it was the best concert ever, but it was the most intimate and most memorable.
