Andrea has more than 23 years of experience practicing labor and employment law. Her practice focuses on helping employers resolve and defend a wide variety of matters arising under ERISA, the NLRA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and state and federal employment laws. Andrea has extensive experience in collective bargaining negotiations, and litigating issues arising under collective bargaining agreements, including Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases involving labor and employment claims. She is also experienced in the negotiation and preparation of compensation packages, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks and severance agreements. Andrea’s litigation experience extends into matters of real estate, professional liability and fiduciary liability.
Andrea’s approach is to provide legal advice that contributes to the success of our client’s mission and goals.
In the Profession
Andrea is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin, as well as in the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Eastern District of Michigan. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Labor and Employment Section, the Chicago Bar Association, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and Wisconsin Real Estate Women.
In the Community
Andrea is actively involved with the Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program (WisLAP), the Women’s Fund of Milwaukee, and her son’s high school athletic teams.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?
I completed the Wisconsin Ironman Race.
What is the best book you have read in the past two years?
The Christopher Marlowe Cobb series by Robert Olen Butler. It is a spy thriller series packed with accurate historical facts.
What is the best concert you’ve attended, ever, and what made it the best?
When I was in law school in New Orleans, one of my classmates was also a professional blues singer. One evening, after some wine, when several of us law students were gathered at her apartment, an impromptu concert broke out. I’m not sure it was the best concert ever, but it was the most intimate and most memorable.
